INDUSTRIAL ACTION – WEDNESDAY 16 AND THURSDAY 17 JULY 2008
It is with regret that I must inform you that there is to be a national day of strike action on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 July 2008. The strike has been called by UNISON and UNITE Trade Unions.
This will involve a significant number of support staff in Summer Lane Primary School. We have conducted a thorough risk assessment to determine whether or not we can safely operate the School and maintain a duty of care to your child(ren). As a result we must inform you that this school will be closed for on 16 and 17 July 2008.
Because we have an INSET Day on Friday 18th July, this means that the final day of school for children this year will be on TUESDAY 15TH JULY.
We recognise the inconvenience this will cause you and your family but our primary concern is to safeguard your child(ren). More...
25 June 2008ONLINE SHOPPING
Summer Lane Primary has joined the fastest growing online shopping fundraising web shop. We provide you with a simple shop interface for you to use. Each time you purchase anything through this shop interface it will generate commission for our school – at no extra cost to you. You will pay the same prices as shopping directly with the retailer and there are often discounts exclusive to the web shop. Each retailer gives between 2% and 12% commission on each purchase – you can actually view a full list of the commission rates our school would receive in the A-Z tab of our web shop.
