Monday: Trainers suitable to run long distances, black jogging bottoms/leggings, a white T-shirt and a black long sleeved top, such as a hoody/jacket.
Tuesday: White T shirt and black shorts.
Earrings must be removed for all P.E before the lesson.
Throughout school, children will be read with at least twice each week: during Whole Class Guided Reading sessions as well as one-to-one. It is essential that your child reads as much as possible at home. Reading books will be changed once per week, after they have read their book with an adult and the book has been completed. Re-reading books has proved to be an excellent way of securing your child’s reading knowledge and will be encouraged. Please make sure that you sign your child’s reading journal every time you read together, this will be monitored in class.
Homework will be sent every Friday and should be completed by the following week. Mark sheets will also be available for the work to be marked at home. Each child will receive a homework book which should be kept at home, for your child to use. These do not need to be returned to school. Tasks will include: Maths, Reading and Timestable Table Rockstars.
-Each child in class will have their own pencil case- please do not bring any stationary in to school from home.
-With the weather getting colder, please ensure your child is ready to go outside during all weather conditions and that they have an appropriate warm coat/jacket.
