Nursery Mr Morgan

Communication Friendly Setting for 2 to 4 year olds.

Our registered lead practitioner who enables the setting to be Communication Friendly is Mr Morgan and all the staff who work in the nursery undergo an induction to enable the setting to remain Communication Friendly. Mr Morgan is also a Barnsley Local Authority Champion For Communication Counts 2 to 4 year olds and also a DFE EYFS Mentor.

Welcome to the nursery page.

We can help in many ways and we have many ways to communicate with yourselves.

Verbally- We value verbal communication and that's why we invite children and families into nursery at the start of a session. This is a good time to settle your child but at the same time share short messages. At the end of sessions either in the morning or afternoon is a better time for general conversation. You are also welcome to arrange private appointments on request.

Dojo- Dojo is very good when you have a question for nursery. Nursery also put lots of information on Dojo regarding the curriculum. As with all correspondence to ensure work life balance staff will get back to you but it does depend on factors such as when children are n class as they are our first priority and our families outside working hours.  Please ensure you record absence with the school office as well as Dojo. The school office manage your attendance and Dojo keeps the nursery informed. Both are essential.

Twitter- Twitter is used when there is something that a class is proud of and want to share with the school community.

School Webpage- The web page is something we find useful for general information. If you browse our web page you will find information regarding the EYFS curriculum, schedules, out of school clubs etc.

Nursery Staff

Stephen Morgan- Nursery Teacher with key person responsibility.
