Summer Lane Primary is committed to meeting the requirements of the primary National Curriculum.

Our schemes of work reflect the content and challenge of the curriculum. Teachers have received training in key areas of curriculum change and are ready to provide outstanding curriculum provision. Schemes are a mix of bespoke and adapted purchased national schemes.

The curriculum will be taught with the consideration of the needs of all learners. Our curriculum will be exciting and will inspire children to nurture a passion for learning.

Reading is a passion in school and we aim to start this love of reading from day one in our Nursery.

We will assess pupils through formative and summative assessments on a daily, weekly and termly basis.

We aim for our pupils to be proud of their work.
