Class 6 - Mrs Webb / Miss Hattersley

Class 6

Hello Class 6 smiley

I hope you are all doing okay and staying safe at home?  As we know the world is a little different now and everything is a little strange. That is why there are only a limited number of children in school and the rest of you are all working from home. Can you please remember to log on to Class Dojo in the morning and afternoon to see what your work is for the day.

All the information of the activities and lessons will be on there as well as some recorded lessons.  Can you please remember to upload your work to Class Dojo once you have finished it please.

Keep up the hard work! Both me and Mrs Bates are missing you all.

Hopefully we will all see each other in the classroom really soon.

From Mr Reeder & Mrs Bates smiley

Here in class 6 we make learning as fun and as exciting as we can.

We aim for our class to be a welcoming, supportive and happy environment where everyone feels safe and secure.

Our general week consists of:

  • Maths and English everyday
  • Grammar 3x  a week
  • Whole class guided reading 3x a week. Focusing on a different book each term which consist of varying themes. This term our book is: The Stig of the Dump. The theme running throughout this book is friendship.
  • PE 2x a week. This half term we are looking at Handball on Monday and Rugby on Wednesday.
  • Every afternoon we participate in the wider curriculum. This includes: Science, ICT, ART, DT, Music, PSHE, RE and MFL.

Read as much as you can!

Here are two great links for online reading with lots of variety in books.
